PROCEDURES
NON-SURGICAL REJUVENATION
NEUROMODULATORS AND FILLERS
Neuromodulators and fillers form part of what is known as a non-surgical, “liquid face-lift”. These injectables are minimally invasive aesthetic treatments that can contour the face by adding volume, filling lines and reducing wrinkles to enhance your natural features and give you a younger, refreshed face.
INDICATIONS
Dermal fillers are commonly injected into the areas where deep lines and wrinkles occur such as the jaw, the forehead, and around the eyes and lips, to fill these lines diminishing their appearance. Dermal fillers work by restoring the skin with the nutrients and water balance to allow for instant rejuvenation of the skin.
Neuromodulators can be injected into the crows-feet around the eyes, the forehead creases and between the brows to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines. They work by relaxing the facial nerves that cause the muscles in the face to contract, thus smoothing wrinkles and preventing wrinkles from forming. These injections can also be used to treat excessive sweating under the arms, hands, head and feet.
PROCEDURE
During your first consultation, Dr Sofianos will discuss your areas of concern and suggest which injectables may work best for you. Once decided, he may apply a numbing cream to the area to ensure you experience no pain during the treatment. These injectables are then injected in various areas to achieve a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
RECOVERY
There will be no downtime needed for this procedure. You can expect minimal pain, swelling and redness after your treatment, which should fade after a few hours. After your treatment, you may need additional treatments to maintain the effects - this will be discussed with you during your consultation.
The use of fillers and botox can provide a subtle enhancement of the natural face, achieving aesthetic goals without committing to plastic surgery.
